How are those EK-blocks for the 4870X2? I heard they are missing standoffs, and they will sometimes bend the entire PCB?

I always take pictures of components when they are new and fresh out of the box.

How come you've got pics of the GTZ up, but the 'in-rig' photos use a Fuzion?
As WaterFlex said, they are two different systems.

Some of you might have been BadApple around on the interwubs, I've tried to get some recognition for it, but usually I'm beaten out by people with more budget :\
This is the first revision of it:


Look pretty sweet, but then I had to clean it up a little, and there was a second revision, but I don't know what happened to pictures of it... so after a while I decided to upgrade and do a third revision.

Just a couple of pics for my window-radiator set-up. I decided to use the cool Arctic air of Alaska to help cool my test-bench. I still have another radiator (PA120.3/shroud) to hang from the second shelf for cooling the GPUs. Just waiting on my second XSPC passive-reservoir. Eventually all of the water-cooling gear will be encased in Plexiglas. I don't have a heated shop that will allow me the benefits of precise cutting and building a detailed project of what I have in mind. So all of this is just temporary ...

Nice bench AK! I love bench setups way more than case setups.
It just adds a whole new element when you can see everything working, especially when watercooled.

Hi. At last I have received that aquagratiX HD 4870 X2 and have collected a contour. For bad quality of photos sorry, next time I will lay out with Nikon D80.

Loop is connected in this order:
Reservoir: XSPC Passive 250mm Reservoir
Pump: Swiftech MCP655 12VDC 5-speed
Radiator: Feser X-Changer Single 120mm with Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000 RPM fan and rubber grommets
GPU Waterblock: EK FC-280 nickel-plated with a passive backplate for RAM and support
GPU Waterblock: EK FC-280 nickel-plated with a passive backplate for RAM and support
Radiator: Feser X-Changer Triple 120mm with Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000 RPM fans and rubber grommets (i dremeled out the top of the case at my uncle's workshop for better flow and less noise)
CPU Waterblock: Swiftech GTZ with LGA-1366 mount
Northbridge Waterblock: Swiftech MCW-NBMAX
Then back to the reservoir.

CPU: Core i7 Extreme 965 at 4.03 GHz it idles at 30C and loads at 63C
GPU (2xSLI): nVidia 280 EVGA 712MHz core clock, 1502 shader clock, 1350 memory clock (watercooled) idles at 36C, loads at 40C
Audio: Creative X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty connected via optical cable to Logitech Z5500 505-watt 5.1 dts digital surround sound (had to remove the pretty cover to make it fit on this mobo)
Keyboard: Logitech G15
Mouse: Logitech G9 Laser
Monitor: 22" Asus VW222U (zero ghosting and exactly 1080p resolution!)
DVD: SATA Asus DVD/CD-R
Surge suppressor: Tripp-lite TLP810NET
