    Wow, what's your pack date?

I have same batch and run 1.325 vvt for 3600mhz uncore/1600 ram. I have GSkill Pi (blue) running 7-7-7-21 1T with 1.68v. I run 200x19 on cpu and only need 1.2v bios with LLC on P6T6. 5+ hr OCCT linpack and 150 runs (25000) of LinX 0.6.1 stable.

What vcore are you using for 4.2 and what multi/bclk arangement?

Well, this is my first build and my first overclock, so I'm pretty happy with the results so far. It was such an easy overclock thanks to this thread (and others there at XS) that I'm tempted to go for more, but for now I think I start actually using this computer for a while.

Ignore the NB/SB temps, the ASUS temp program didn't play nice with CPU-Z. The NB/SB were running around 43°C before I turned on CPU-Z.

This chip really should have been a W3540, I need higher mp to go further. I can boot and prime at 226, at 227 the mb does'nt even try to boot. I need a new mb, hoping GB X58A will be released soon.

Maybe not most of them, but I'v certanly seen better chips than this one in theese forums. Cooling is essential though as you say, I'v got 2 tripple rads and ambient in the low 20, that helps.

I'm sorry for asking such a dumb question, but... I recently got a core i7 920 / classified MB and I have never overclock anything!

What would be a good "first time" reading / tutorial?

    thanks!
