What power would i need to power 3 4890's
Would probably do some overclocking
Not sure if im going AMD or Intel yet...
And for hardrives, just 2. 1 hd, 1 ssd.
1 optical.
up to 8 fans possibly in a torture rack.

amd use an HX 850 - intel go with an enermax rev85+ 950/1050
Dual PSUs
A Corsair HX1000 and a 750TX for me with 3 HD4890s and an i7 920 at 217x21.
Im not going dual, too much money.
i have the corsair 850hx plenty of power to go......lol.......
My Killawatt display peaked at 1025 watts with 3 HD4890s runing at 1000/1200 and a i7 920 OCd to 218x21 in my R2E during Vantage and 3DMark06.
850 might be cutting it close depending on your config, it may be working it near 100% capacity. If i7 with a few hardrives, pumps and what not I'd look at a 950-1000 watt. Enermax Rev85 1050, Corsair 1000, or so on....
Otherwise an 850-950 would be good, Corsair 850, Enermax Rev85 950
BFG, Corsair, Enermax, PC P&C 1000W+
You only want to load to 60% norm.
A 700W Cougar would be powerfull enough
