Intel Atom: OC / undervolt utility?

Like the title asks, is there a utility to do either for an intel atom? RightMark CPU Clock Utility does not support that n270.

Not sure if it works on other laptops but at least you can force CPU to run at 800MHz instead 1,6GHz with A1CTL program.

Thanks, it does work. I have an acer aspire one, so naturally, it would work.

Any links to an OC utility?

set fsb works on my asus EEE with the n280. make sure you have the overhead on your ram, this is usually the limiting factor. i have my 1.6ghz EEE stable at 2.1ghz on windows xp. make sure speedstep is disabled or your OC will be alot less. In windows 7 i havnt been able to get past 1.8ghz stable due to not being able to disable the speed step

wait is this thread about overclocking, underclocking, or undervolting? i tried undervolting with RMclock, but it doesn't support atoms. i wanted to further reduce the power consumption, but i figured it was only 2.5w from the CPU so there's really no point in trying to reduce power there. the chipset takes most of the draw.

Both actually. Any good utility would let me do both.

doubt you'll be able to mess with voltage, but you should be able to change the fsb

Try Asrock OCTuner, it may or not may work but give it a try... But see if you have a Ion ar an Intel platform there are versions for both... It has options for CPU voltage and to raise the FSB..For Asrock Atom's platforms work's

You can't install the program or it can't run? Another fact is that Asrock uses Atom dual core(330) not single so the OCtunner might not work on single core

I can install it but when i actually run it, i get some checksum error. I guess it checks the BIOS for some values or something. Anyway, it doesn't work.

the only way to change the fsb is to possibly try different oem bios revisions. when i switched from version 802 bios to 902 i saw a decrease of .1 vcore so i went back to the 802 and im able to get about 200mhz more fully stable
