I also got my new case loaded Temps dropped for all my components, like 5- 12*C.

well I couldn't find my thermal paste, so no water. I used the stock fan and it is under the 250MM Skeleton fan on high. Still nice quick results. I have to go spend time with the wife.

Man no matter what I do I cannot get my system stable over 3.7GHz. I guess that's my limit on my system + Win 7 64-bit.

Update ,,Pushing Since release day X2 550 @ 1.52volts @ 4ghz+ 24/7 with 1.45volts on the NB UD4P..
For the Money you cant go wrong with a X2 550
Ive been running High volts from day one and have no complaints..
Well just one and its with the Mobo not having Ram Drive strenths lol.
So if anyone want a uber chip to unlock the 550 has over a 60% unlock rate ,, that is huge and across numerouse Mobos..
AMD has always been fun to tweek and 550's are icing on the cake and then some.
Well Still going strong,, up'd the Ram to 1200mhz with mild 7-7-7-20 timing and Medium NB freqency.. Im going more for Max fine tuning Now and am Closing in on 4100mhz with 1200+ ram and 2500mhz NB..
Using 1.52volts @4068mhz and 2.3v on the DDR2 ..
On this Mobo the HT likes to be linked to HTT speed when pushing 1200mhz ram.
After trying for several weeks to pass 1175mhz using 800ram divider.. I noticed that the ram would not clock higher unless the HT Multi was 10x and the EPP option Disabled. While using the 1066 divider and EPP it would crash the Mobo once the HTT was set above 222 with the 1066divder.I kept lower the HT to 9X or 1800mhz thinking the HT was too high LOL it worked for the 800divider. But No It needed to stay @ 2000HT..So when the HTT raises to 225 it would become 2250mhz HT. Im so happy it wasnt the Ram but the Bios
This is the Same for F5Abeta and F5 on the UD4P DDr2 Mobo.
SupI is is 1M 17.050's.....
was lazy to post screens of Pi and Everest lol.
Trust me ,this was not easy using Patriot ram..
You can not adjust drive strenths to help . HT must be set to 2000mhz .
I used 225htt ) for this ram to work ON the 1066 divider above 1175mhz with EPP disable in Bios.
Ill slowly keep going for more.. Even my Max @ 4160 was only with 1100mhz on the ram.. My goal is 4100mhz @ 1200
Nice cpu you have there! What voltage is that?
Mine wont unlock and is stable in prime at 3.8ghz but when im priming explorer fails instead :S
QUAD @ 4.160 BIOS F7 MA790X-UD4P................Gotta keep up to goTvoltage...lol

Check out the NB

Your NB is ridiculous. But I wonder how high you can get it with DDR3.
Yeah hes at a good clock ATM ,, I think ill have to try the New F7 Bios wheni get a chance...
Im rebuilding my Saltwater Reef with a new tank and am busy the next week setting stuff up 24/7... Why i havnt been posting LOL.. Ive been busy @ 3ReeF looking up my build stuff...To bad my PC dint use a 1000gpHPump too
Im also Saving up for a new Mobo Ram DDR3 and Maybe a 965 or better.. Im gonna buy Some goodies in September..
I had to use my Funds to replace a My old 50gallon tank for my Reef and soo i put another $650 into it for lighting and Filtration and another Tank...
That was my New System money ,,Oh well....It just gives me more time to Decide on Mobo and a Chip stepping
Few pics of What ive been Doing when not Here ,
,Build Stand and waiting for plumbing stuff
DavyJones ,,
in there some where lol..always in way when i take the Pics usually.
Full SHot of the Old Tank before i Empty it and put Jones My Scoppa Tang in a the new Tank!
All i can Say is the X2 550 is one Uber Chip to play with for $99bucks on the Right Mobo
P.S. HONDAGUY ,, your right on the Money Bro,, that Bios seems like it give more Clocking Headroom with Ram now...With DDR2 its best to use around 1100- 1150mhz to keep the IMC happy it seems.. I cant wait to try this 550on DDR3.
Also HONDA your link width is it at 8x ,, make shure you set Autonegotiate for the PCI-e and Link width 16X if your using one card..If using two Cards and 16x then 8x is normal.
