today i just upgraded a few componets in my system since that post. got some good and bad out of it
good news is i upgraded from my AMD64x2 4000 processor. to a AMD phanom II x3 720 BE
HUGE differnace in proformace there.
have a total of 4 gigs of ram. 2x corsare value select PC4300 2x kingston PC5300
and running a Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT. i plan to upgrade that in a week or two
im looking to upgrade that to a GeForce GTX 260
got myself a couple of sata II drives so im off the IDE thank god... those cables was HUGE...
once i get the new video card ill be doing some cable management and possably install a side window but untell then im useing a case without a window now
heres a few pics of the messy condition its currently in and yea.. unforitly im still useing a eyetoy
and the bad news... im not getting those crazy low temps anymore.. i need to do some work to get that back. possabilites of loseing it. new motherboard.. droped screw behind the old one... lolz... woops...
so mabe the bios is better/worse calbrated. i do have the most recent bios.. so dubt that.. heatsink fan broke off compleatly. the plastic tabs the held it snaped when i decided to do some cleaning in my case
temps hovering around average now. ~42 c idle ~52 load
overclocked too. sitting at 3.4 ghz
enjoy the low resalution mess.
