memory support would be good, I hard lock at 1175MHZ as said above, don't matter if 1 stick with mega tweaking or all 4 sticks with no mega tweaking.

No you didn't. I have downloaded again mBIOS pack, in p5q-e dir there is a 1406 bios.

Within this pack are updated BIOS files for the P5Q, P5Q Pro, P5Q-E, P5Q Deluxe and P5Q Premium. The BIOS files have been updated with the memory table from the Maximus 2 Formula.

I have a little question, I want to flash back from 1901 to 1406, but with "afudos /i <...ROM> /n" it won't work, tells me the BIOS is too old, any hints?

EDIT: I tried the older version auf AFUDOS (posted by Ket a while back, 2.11, and it keeps hanging at "advance check"...what can I do?

It needs an ES afudos version.
Might not easy to find but with a bit patience you'll find it.

"ES"? Like "engineering sample"? If it's that big deal, I'll stick with the 2101, but I really would have loved to test my 45nm Quad with the "old" 1406 BIOS...

The only one I have is the none modded version. I can't give it right now either because I'm at work, it is at my house.

dunno what 'es' stands for, but it got the job done.
Browse through this thread a bit, I've seen some other method that works instead.

hmm 1406 again a legend for some P5Q boards.. wonder why..

I know its not a P5Q board so I'm straying a little.. but technically I'm not "cheating". It still uses the P45 chipset
