I have read on some other forums that it is a better idea to install this block without the standoffs, even though the instructions say to use them.
Is there any real advantage to not using the standoffs, aside from an easier install process (they were a pain in the @$$ to line up and install)? Thanks.
Can't you line them up on the block then use a drop of super glue to hold them in place until you can tighten the screws?

Bribery won't work on me...just say NO to AT!!!
I was just wondering if there'd be a similar full-board solution for the SLI LE...?
please be gentle with me. i am only a noob!
Just got my EK block installed this weekend. Its my first ever watercooled build, so be gentle!
The pics looks terrible with MS Paint resizing... oops.

You did almost exactly the same as i was planning on doing this summer.
The only diffrence is that i am going to use a external res and an mcr320 rad and also cool the gpu.
But could you tell me what the distance is between the back of the case and where the rad attaches to the rad support from koolance when its fully extended?

Folks, is it ok to have this small hole in the block? I have not yet run water into it so I dunno if there would be a leak. It looks like its from the screw hole. This is my first water cooling build so am just taking extra precaution. TIA...

@JoeChou: Thanks man. Just being sure...That mounting screw is outside the water area ... you are safe!![]()
So what happened to NCIX distributing this block? For the first 3 weeks it was "Not Available" and now it is not even listed any more on their site. Sidewinder also has none in stock for a while now.

Sidewinder has had them in-stock twice since their release, they just sell out the same day they get them in. It is all a matter of diligence![]()

From what I see, NCIX is still selling it... just not NCIX-US. They must have shipped them all to Canada![]()
Looks like the Koolance Radiator Mounting Bracket with Quick-Release.
In stock @ sidewinder
