Does anyone know if the P55 chipset will require 1.65v ram like the X58 chipset?

That has nothing to do with the (X58) chipset, and the chance are high since the use the same IMC.

Plus they don't require 1.65, it's just a intel recommendation when everythings at stock. When your qpi voltage is within 0.5V of the ram voltage everythings fine.

Ahhh same as when I owned my Biostar Tpower X58 rig, I didnt realise you could go over 1.65v though thats handy to know.
