Thumbs up New Biostar Tpower X58A can do +5Ghz Uncore

Before to test Vantage for F1OC contest , i tested max RAM / Uncore OC on the Biostar X58 Motherboard. Previous revision had some issues to push High memory frequency and uncore frequency.

Here are results of the new revision :

Biostar Tpower X58A (Bios june 2009)
    Core i7 975 xe retail
    3 X 2Gb G.skill PS 2000 CL9
    2 stages caskade (-100°)

    + 5ghz Uncore

    2312 DDR3 7-8-7-24

    And quick +2400 Cl9 validation : http://valid.canardpc.com/show_oc.php?id=634386

some Pictures of the Board :

Very amazing, but imho if you have good CPU and goor RAM kit (like yours) every topline motherboard is able to do suicide screenshot with 5GHz CPU uncore.
What about other score like superPI or 3D with this motherboard?

The biostar ratio price/performance is good for this product.

imho biostar is capable of high clocking and low price...but i always measured very low performance when compared to other (i.e. TP45 or similar model)

please try some 200x20/2000 run with this and other system and let's check if it's fast

    anyway good job Thomas !
