Thanks enkie. I'll forward your data to JJ at Asus and wait for a reply. The log file clearly shows that your computer is not able to maintain a full turbo 21.000 multiplier while running Prime when using bios 0007. It is rapidly cycling between 21.0 and 20.0 with the average being about 20.320.
When i7 Turbo shows a Calculated turbo multiplier that ends in .320, that means the +1 Turbo is engaged approximately 32% of the time and not engaged like it should be the other 68% of the time. Obviously we're hoping to see it engaged 100% of the time and reporting a constant 21.000.
In the turbo download, I prefer using i7 Turbo V8. It shows the calculated multiplier for all 8 threads. Your standard deviation was very low which confirms that all 8 threads are throttling the same amount.
