Just got an email from Marco, ill just post the most important here, easier than forwarding the mail to 10 others like last time
Dear winners of the MOA EU finals,
Let me say again: Congratulations with reaching the top 6 at the MOA EU finals and being qualified for the MOA global finals in Beijing! Yes, you have read it right, because the Japanese team cannot make the finals we have decided to include the number 6 team at the EU finals: The Slovakian/Czech team! J
Since you all need to apply for Visa to be able to go to China I will now share the needed information regarding the finals with you:
Hotel name: The National Olympic Sports Center-Olympic Hotels
Arrival: 28th of August
Departure: 31st of August
Next to that, we also announced the hardware and benchmarks to be used at the finals on our website: http://www.oc-arena.com/index.php?op...emid=2&lang=en
To make the competition more exiting we have decided not to send you hardware at home.
Yessssss!!!!!![]()

Wow! That's unexpected! You must be very happy right now.
Congrats and lots of succes.

It´s looks like a dream big thx MSI![]()

I'm still hoping MSI will give team holland a wildcard. But i don't think there's a big chance of happening![]()
Hey guys,
Arriving 28 august. - arriving + welcome diner (as usual)
29 aug. : preparation / opening ceremony (morning) - competition (afternoon) separated in "fixed" time (2 benchs) 2hours Wprime 1024 / 3hours 3Dmark vantage 1.0.1 Performance preset
30 aug. : meeting morning / city tour afternoon
31 aug. departure !
it was quite the same last year and yes jetlag wasn't easy to handle ^^
It´s soo short timebut if we have hour two before for preparation and tweaks, it will be better

The schedule is really tight, with some hardware problems you're screwed. A city tour is nice, but I think the overclockers would like some more time for overclocking rather than having a city tour.
No way. I would like to see all the historical places in there, but we dont have enough time.
I hope thy will take us to here:

Final will be nice, but the team with best CPU and VGA clocks are easy winner. No room for tweaking or trying to get more efficiency. If you are not lucky with CPU, efficiency is important. Not this time though...
You are as good as your samples are!
that is very odd choice of benchmarks i must say
also what is up with windows XP and VantageWTF
Chinese Great Wall is so far from Beijing, there is no chance to get there ...
We will visit some Museum, there is a lot of them ... But schedule is so tight for us, because flight from Prague/Vienna is soooooooo looooong for Fridays arrival, we need early flight at Thursday ...
About preparation time, you can prepare and media can drink some beer and eat some dog at City Tour ... i agreed
PS. Operating system is Vista 64b ...

would you crunch if you thought it would save her life?
maybe it will!
i dont have one of these boards but if i was to get one is there a possibility of testing this special MOA bios? or what bios is the latest i that i could try
It seems I will join in as well. Don't exactly mind not competing when there's one day to settle a five hour time difference, even though that would've been a bit more fun than "only" writing.
But anyways, see you folks in Beijing!
I KNOW MASSMAN DISLIKES YOU.
Competition ranking: Better than the danes in everything I've ever entered.Originally Posted by saaya
