I just got mine and haven't got a chance to work on the install yet. I do agree with you on the bending of the tabs. Seeing it is being marketed as a beginner res, it would be nice to not make them "mod" there case to install it. i can't comment on the holes lining up on the Cosmos 1000, but will when I get to installing it.

Thanks for putting out your thoughts and I do like that ghost effect of the plexi front panels. Are they easily removable? Could you post a little thing about how you made them and attached them?

edit: also seeing you get a set of fittings with the T3, the recessed holes is kind of a mute point. The only downfall is to take advantage of them, you are restricted to 2 sizes of tubing. Not a big deal for first timers, more for those that want to upgrade to it.

@ millertime359 - both DarthBeavis and Boxgods suggested i paint the fronts to match the mod which i honestly didn't agree with one bit tbh but hey each to their own - painting can hide a multitude of sins but we have a saying here in the UK - you can't make a silk purse out of a pigs ear so on this occasion i ended up making bezels for the fronts >>link<<

I find the T3 a little like EK's EK-BAY SPIN Reservoir (sorry Eddy) both wanting to be taken seriously yet both marketed for the kids which i'm sorry i just can't get my head around..........though i do understand everyone's taste is different so won't totally condemn either but for me both are wrong and would look way better and more appealing to the market they are both trying to target with a more elegant / minimalist look.

As for the T3 recessed holes and barbs, honestly it couldn't be further than being a mute point but more so dangerous in terms of busting hardware if the Ghost Fittings aren't used with the T3 as they simply don't fit >> link<<
