Let us know![]()
I just read his review, hopefully we will see a dual rad version, for not to much![]()
Review looks pretty good but I think I'll keep with my TRUE for the mo (not enough difference to warrant the hassle) + like others have said....dualrad..hmmmmmmm
Maybe me and Pavi both tested in too high ventilated cases. In a small form case (HTCP style), bad flow case (loads of wiring, obstructions etc) or eg cases with older 8cm fans etc, this cooler will do it's job magnificently. As it draws room ambient air in to cool the rad, while a good air cooler has to cool with the higher case ambient air. For those that want a hassle free (easy to install and maintain) and pretty solid performing setup this cooler might do the trick ! Our main editor will put the H50 against another competitor on his testbed. Maybe the results are more in favour of the H50.
Testing is never done
It would be nice to see a dual rad version of this kit under 100 euro price. but it will be far harder to mount/install which deviates a bit from the original concept...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved
Remark : They call me Pro AsusSaaya yupp, I agree
Well IMO and from what ive seen around the net on this cooler.
It seems totally up to par for the job it was designed for.
Which is to cool an i7 (not heavily oc,ed) for a cheap price
and for ease of installation and low maintenance.
Corsairs memory and PSU,s are good.
Now they have a cheap decent AIO cooling solution.![]()

on the madshirps review bottom of page 1 we can finally see the internals of that heatsink,

which explains why it does a pretty good job of drawing massive amounts of heat with low flow
id like to see someone mod that block to work with a custom kit and push a D5 at it

Yes, you are totally right. In fact Corsair in its reviewer's guide says that it is important to be sure that the radiator receives a good amount of fresh air and very good ventilation for better performances.
I really hope that Corsair will release a dual-radiator H50. But I also think (as I wrote in my review) that increasing the depth of the radiator could help to achieve higher performances.
i would look into selling one with longer tubing, i think 15" would be good for people trying to put it in a weird spot, or a fully external version, and it probably cant cost much more
The scythe Mugen 2 will give you same performance, or close to it for $30 USD.
Why not replace ya Noctua by a Scythe 2 then ? as it will give close performance too... Why buy a classified if you run only 4.2 daily ? People buy stuff for looks, to be cool, to be different, to each his own...
I really find it enterrrrrrrrtaining that most comments are really negative... so easy to be negative, constructive criticism is far more appreciated...

the thing i like about this cooler the most is that it provides the power of a high end air cooler in a smaller package. my case cant fit any 120mm coolers but this cooler would fit and offer me the same performance if not a little better.
great review leeghoofd nice little cooler that also quiet as well ....this isnt a replacement for hard core watercoolers ...but maybe the future of air hybrids .....
I'll stick with my Copper myself
I'm skeptical of the durability of the thing to say the least long term.
Looks like it does what it's made to do very well.

The hydro can.. depending how its oriented. Its recommended by corsair to put hot air INTO the case (cold air through the rad) to get these temps though.
I've a htpc with a dodgy mobo at high temps (bloody MSI frackin useless engineers) where this would quite possibly kill my board. Also there are components around your socket that could probably do with the air flow.. which you will reduce when the rad is used instead of an air cooler.
So, no, it's not a given.
