Its unstable as hell, no matter what the voltages.

No boot at 14x221, no matter what the voltages! So, what's the secret to high BCLK on evga x58 vanilla board? Are you increasing the BCLK in Eleet after booting with 220?
finding the right combo with CPU VTT and Qpi voltages is the thing that will get you past that 220.. usually when i bench i never even try to boot with high high BCLK im usully booting with 215 and then while in windows i use the e-leet tool to play around with the voltage settings and bclk

Why 110? Just take it up a couple mhz. What card are you using? Some cards are sensitive to the adjustment.

I've got my 1000w Antec True Power in there now. I really don't want to throw my 600w back in there ....

I'll be putting my new D0 in there tonight to give it a run and see if it doesn't OC a little higher than my C0.

Also, it generally doesn't drop below 18c or so in the basement, where the computer is.

4.4ghz wasnt stable, would crash after 5 mins, so I'm keeping it at 4.0ghz - 4.2ghz with turbo. With my DFI LP DK-X58 + G.Skill F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ I wasnt able to achieve more than 3.2ghz. THIS motherboard is plain awesome + good ram

Sorry for the delay guys! Change of plans: I ordered the ATCS 840, and I'll be holding off until that comes in before I move to the D0. Figure I might as well do it all at once.

Hey guy I know i posted it last time but figured I'd reiterate this again, there is a known issue between certain PSU and the EVGA X58 board also the GigabyteX58 Extreme is showing the same issue.

Now someone was saying Intel will not RMA the Xeon chips being put into the EVGA X58 board as it is not a supported board so people who have issues with this combo are kinda SOL.

How many watts/amps are safe to pull through the PWM fan header? Would it be ok to plug two fans into it for my TRUE with one of these adapters:

    What PSU?

As for Intel not supporting their own cpu's...that's complete horse crap. The Classified has highlighted the i7 line, would Intel crap where they eat? No.

Sorry to not be more specific(Xeon is not officially support for the Classified). Aboout the PSU it does not seem to be any one but most are Enermax. I also see Gigabyte has this problem as well.

    No problem man lol.

I'm using the Enermax Revolution 1050w and it's worked well on all boards tested, but I have heard that the Classified doesn't like them. The eVGA 3SLI and the Extreme loves it though.

ok so I did everything, it all works fine up untill I put in the "awdflash <biosname> etc and then hit enter. It brings up another screen with a bunch of information about the AWDflash program and looks like it lists letters to put in for differnt things to do. But none of them work.. Theres a blinking command prompt at the bottom but I dont know what to put in if anything. It doesnt talk about this screen in the help thread here http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=671353

This is what I get right after the very last step (I hit enter a couple times thats why there is multiple command prompts at bottom)

edit: I can type in a question mark and it brings up a list of commands that work, but this still isnt right, wtf?

lol nevermind, I got iot. The help thread was wrong, you are not supposed to put in ALL the spaces they show.

Also, lmao I think my mobo already had the most up to date BIOS from evga, wich is the E758sz2f.bin correct? It came out in June so I imagine all newer boards already have it.

Need some help here. Trying to OC.

Right now im at 142 BCLK with turbo mode on @ about 2.9xx some odd ghz.

Vcore is at 1.29375 (third option higher from stock)

Ram voltage is at 1.675 with Ram at 1708mhz right now.

My testing is pretty much just firing up Crysis or ArmA II benchmark. If it passes multiple times its good by me. Don't really care for running Pi and all that stuff.

So when I raise the BCLK to 143 it auto resets the computer during Crysis. Its fine at desktop and doing normal tasks though.

Should I up the Vcore more and the DIMM voltage? Obviously this chip can OC much more. Temps are perfect. right now with BCLK @ 142 idle at 25-29c and load in the 40's (While playing Crysis!) We keep our AC on a lot lol, so its cool in the house too.

Also should I keep the QPI frequency setting on Auto? Or put it at the 6.4 selection??

Some more specs - I have Dummy OC off, XMP (Xtreme memory profiles) off (Manually set the memory to its factory 1600mhz when I put them in)

Oh and rig is in my siggy. Mobo has most up to date BIOS wich is a rock solid version.

edit: oh and here is this if it helps. (In Bios the CPU mhz shows 3010Mhz and bus speed at 143)
