    First of all heres my config:
    P5Q Pro
    Q9400
    4x 2Gb corsair dominator 8500C5D
    Asus Radeon HD4850
    Zalman CNPS 9700
    Pc Power and cooling silencer 500
    I have a bit of a funny problem. When i cold boot the pc after it has been off for some time, the fans spin up and nothing happens. I have to wait for some time and then the I get a beep and the bios says that overclocking has failed. I load my settings and then everything works fine. Im running the ram at 2.1v at 1066Mhz. I have kept the NB voltage to auto as initially it would boot fine on this setting. Otherwise everything works great... i have not shut down the pc for 3 days now and i have not gotten a single error!!

    Is this a problem with my Mobo as initially it would boot up fine on these settings. Have tried every version of the BIOS including Ket's Bioses but to no avail. I can run Sandra, 3D Mark or prime 95 for as long as i want without a single BSOD so im mostly sure that my harware is ok. A lot of people do seem to have this problem but other than resetting the cmos, no one has been able to suggest a proper solution. Looking forward to your help!!
    It could one or a combination of the following;

    1. Your NB does not have sufficient volts to keep everything running as it should. Try setting a manual value of 1.2/1.3v. If you have your CPU OCd, try setting 1.4v.

    2. Any CPU/memory OC you may be running isn't quite fully stable. Bump up your CPU/RAM voltage a bit, say 0.5v.

    3. You have a slightly weak SB, set a voltage of 1.2/1.3v.

    4. Your PSU is starting to fail.

    5. Your mobo is starting to fail.

    6. Your PSU may be struggling to provide enough power.

    7. Try flashing your mobo with the latest BIOS (mine or official, I'm not predujice ) but don't flash through Windows, do it from pure DOS. To flash from pure DOS prepare any kind media you desire and make it bootable (floppy, CD, USB stick, whatever takes your fancy). Use the version of AFUDOS HERE, put it on the boot media with whatever BIOS you want to use. Restart your system with the boot media left in and at the DOS prompt that will load type; AFUDOS.EXE /iBIOSfilename.rom /PBNC /N

    AFUDOS will handle the rest. Once the flash is complete restart as asked, shutdown the system, remove power cord, battery, and set CMOS jumper to "clear". Press and hold power button a few times, leave for 2mins, then power everything up again.

    Once thats done enter BIOS and set voltages manually. Try;

    CPU: 1.25v
    RAM: 2.2v
    NB: 1.2v
    SB: 1.2v
    LLC: Enabled
