Yeah, FX51 aircooled did 2584MHz!

Today Russian overclockers (me and Musiaka - member of 3DMark XS Team) did 2584mhz on AFX51 and ASUS SK8V. All aircooled and not voltmodded. So, photos of the system:

System was not so stable, and we couldn't run all benchmarks such as 3DMark, but here is the screenshots what we did:

if he was in siberia (-40C) or Canada he wouldn't even need the heatsink... joking joking..

Ambient temperature makes a HUGE difference because the HS temperture is relative to ambient and CPU temperature is relative to HS.

Max stable clock at which we could run 3DMark was 2504Mhz. By the way, it's the 4-th place result at FX5900XT - http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=7619133

At 2504Mhz Cpu temp was 22o and system temp was 14o. Of course window was open

21K is pretty slow for a 2.5 Ghz AFX. I would've expected at least 23K.

Slow fx5900xt is the bottleneck in this case but nature score is kinda wierd. :-/
All im doing is shifting energy to get lower temps to remove the cpu energy.
[24460] on Radeon9500NP. World #2 in Radeon9500 challenge.

Lol. May i ask, WHY you put the link to FX-51 result on YOUR sig. This is not your rig and you've done NOTHING for the score.

Well, tell this BS to somebody else. Rig owner is Musiaka, and you personally did nothing for the result. Ok, you bring her the FX5900XT card, but that's "sponsored by" and not the teamwork, as you have no skillz, man That's HER work not your team.

    Zeus, GF4Ti4200
Well, you've asked right questions about nature... Actually thanks Blind_GI - he mentioned 121 nature and that brought my attention too... I compared some scores and what we see?
There is something really strange with it. If you compare iAMDevil's score against #1 result in 5900XT category made by La1kr0diZ (yes, one more record for the XS team) on quite similar system (everything unmodded, aircooled gpu and passive watercooling on cpu - so there is a lot of room for improvement for him) you'll see the difference:

Laik uses 53.03 drivers and FX5900XT @ 500/975 (CPU - P4EE @ 3780). LODbias is set on best performance setting, he can't get any higher with other LOD. Nature score is 118.0 FPS.
iAMDevil - same drivers, but 510/875 clocks. Nature = 121.5 FPS. Even if he also found best lod settings, how could you explain 3.5 fps GAIN in only one test - Nature (the most gfx-dependant test in 3dmark) with 100MHz LOSS in mem clocks???

My guess is he has bits of the 43.03 drivers left that is causing his nature score to be somewhat inflated
