as much as it killed me, sometimes you just dont have a choice, i think if you have some cash handy, start having a look at some boards for this chip.

your in the same position i was in, ive got a not bad chip here, and it was being strangled in the AX78, retire it to a media centre or bench board.

as for bios update, i really dont think that is going to happen, i have heard nothing back from an email, not that surprised by that really
