I was told that ES chips are purchased at premium prices, isn't that correct? From my understanding, these ES chips are shipped to certain individuals who have a demonstrative purpose in the testing channel for Intel to test their chips before releasing them retailly. But I was told that isn't the case. Rather, individuals who are willing to pay premium price for them, buy them for personal reasons. Which is correct: 1) My understanding OR 2) What I have been told?
