The system that guy was gonna try it on is a watercooled unit isn't it? so if its over 5gees on water and goes public, I'm on one like a fly on poop.
"Fanbouyism is a disease we all carry but most have immune systems that keep it at bay. However when coupled with a bad dose of ignorance and Low IQ numbers, this disease can be accelerated out of control to boast insane amounts of irradic, Defensive, or Aggressive behaviour and unexplainable devotion to a product or label whether or not that item is truly deserving" -DR Ima Noober, June 1, 2003

NDA lift should be tomorrow as far as I know (July 1st). It was in that blogger's post a week or so ago.
I really think they should sell these chips, otherwise I think it's a pretty bad stunt. Would be better to show it as ES and make some noize at a PR event with LHe/LN2. I mean, why the fancy box and geeky name if it's not going to be released to market (even though in extremely small quantities and high price). Am very interested in seeing how they perform though.
Some sites will be giving these away.

Some overclocking results..
When i've read the first lines and i saw the cpuz pictures i remained shocked This is more a bad joke in my opinion from Amd a 2ghz stock frecuency Deneb at 1.44v? I don't uderstand anything... What it's the point of this "Tweaker" It reach 100-200Mhz more on air than 955 and 5.9 ghz on LN2 may be with real overclockers 6.5-7ghz??? .. So why it's "exclusive" , "not for sale' it's just a "haf step forward than 955" and i even bet that there 955 as good at this tweaker.. I'm profundly deceptioned about this, this "Tweaker operation" it's more a market strategy to gain share in overclockers team but hey i prefer an E8600@6.5ghz with 3.33ghz stock low vid than this in my opinion patetic 2GHZ 1.44v which was presented like holly grall and induced the opinion of meny people that started to think that it can do 5ghz 24/7 on air and is highly binned and so on...
We were able to reach 4.0GHz on the AMD Phenom II X4 TWKR 42 processor with the XIGMATEK HDT-S1283 air cooled heat sink. This is an improvement of 100MHz on air, but we had to bump the voltage up to 1.46V rather than the 1.45V used to max out the Phenom II 955 processor. Basically, the processor was able to run another 0.1V more CPU Core Voltage which was good enough to reach an extra 100MHz. During our interview with AMD they said a 100MHz overclock was expected on air and that is exactly what we saw.

For those that dont make it to the AMD section........ http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=228418
Particle's First Rule of Online Technical Discussion:
As a thread about any computer related subject has its length approach infinity, the likelihood and inevitability of a poorly constructed AMD vs. Intel fight also exponentially increases.
Rule 1A:
Likewise, the frequency of a car pseudoanalogy to explain a technical concept increases with thread length. This will make many people chuckle, as computer people are rarely knowledgeable about vehicular mechanics.
Rule 2:
When confronted with a post that is contrary to what a poster likes, believes, or most often wants to be correct, the poster will pick out only minor details that are largely irrelevant in an attempt to shut out the conflicting idea. The core of the post will be left alone since it isn't easy to contradict what the person is actually saying.
Rule 2A:
When a poster cannot properly refute a post they do not like (as described above), the poster will most likely invent fictitious counter-points and/or begin to attack the other's credibility in feeble ways that are dramatic but irrelevant. Do not underestimate this tactic, as in the online world this will sway many observers. Do not forget: Correctness is decided only by what is said last, the most loudly, or with greatest repetition.
Remember: When debating online, everyone else is ALWAYS wrong if they do not agree with you!
Well, now you're just being silly. Sure, I was expecting a bit more than 100-200MHz bump in clocks but how could you be disappointed by the stock clock? It's not for sale nor is it intended to be run @ stock. If they wanted to it's pretty easy to imagine these chips would do 3GHz at that voltage (they did, 4,0GHz to be exact).
