Would silica aerogel be appropriate for use as an insulator if it is available?
I'm considering using it in a build but would like to know first if it is suitable for use in a PC build.

You can make aerogel or buy it.............Did you know that carbon nanotubes conduct heat 6 times better than copper (yes better than diamonds),maybe the next hight tech evaporator.
Qixylre you only been here a short time and you asking about some very advanced/expensive materials/compressors,do you have any experience working with these or are they just questions?
The Laws of Thermodynamics say:
Zeroth Law: "You must play the game."
First Law: "You can't win."
Second Law: "You can't break even."
Third Law: "You can't quit the game."
Do you wanna Play Thermodynamics ????????I forgot "you must"
I'm going to start with some simple builds exploring the areas I'm asking about, to use as platforms from which to jump to more advanced methods. At the moment, I've been putting a build together in my mind's eye that I would attempt if money were no object. I like to think that I'm not the only case-modder to indulge in such fantasies from time to time.
