Have any of you guys tried lowering the tRFC at 1200?

...or seeing it tighter timings are possible at 1200 such as 5-4-5-18 or 5-4-4-18 etc?

Would love to see some screenies if possible.

Kind of depends on the set. Jupiler has had great cas4 (and cas 5) performance. My 1066 set wouldn't go above 900 cas4. I also maxed out about 1180. I was able to run tRAS about 13 or 14. tRFC around 50. Remember tRFC has little effect on performance, but great effect on stability.

Does this have the same IC's as the OCZ LV Blade series?
OCZ 4 GB DDR2 PC2-8500 Platinum Low Voltage Dual Channel Memory Kit OCZ2P1066LV4GK

For $51 not a bad deal at all shipped from Amazon:
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002845LDC

Especially when the 1066 LV Blades are $80 plus shipping at Newegg...

Yes. All the LVs are the same ICs. According to Tony, binning is accomplished by voltage, not speed.

The only 1200mhz kits in the uk at the moment are blades on ebay at £93 ($150) each, inc p+p.

By comparison the 1150MHz kits are readily available in most shops for about £57 ($92), so I'm very tempted to get one of those. However the 1200mhz platinum kits are roughly the same, so if they come back in stock after I've bought an 1150mhz kit... Maybe I should just wait.

My FSB will probably sit at 445-467 (depending on what CPU speed I settle for), meaning ddr

    1068 - 1120 on the 5:6 divider
    1113 - 1167 on the 4:5 divider
    1186 - 1245 on the 3:4 divider

Will there be noticeable difference in bandwidth just from using a different divider? Apart from that I have no reason for 1200mhz ram.

The difference from 1120 PL8 to 1245 PL7 will be around 700mb/s on reads, 300mb/s on copy and 4.5 on L.

Why do you think he'll be able to do PL7 on 3:4 vs. PL8 on 5:6?

3:4 is on the 400 strap IIRC, 4:5 is 266.

If anything, you'd have a better chance of lower PL using 4:5 than 5:6 or 3:4, no?

3:4 is on the 200 and 400 strap. I can drop down to PL7 on 3:4 but only PL8 on 4:5 and 5:6. On my setup is takes PL7 on 3:4 to match the BW of the same speed 4:5 and 5:6 at PL8.

I have 2GB of D9GKX so I was able to test the different dividers with 445fsb. Here are the results:

    PL10, 5:6

    PL10, 3:4

    PL8, 5:6

    PL8, 3:4

Nothing compelling. It would appear it's not worth my while forking out for a nice 1150 or 1200 kit...
