So here is a little update that I am putting out on all of the forums.

The lights have still not come in yet. Both Performance-PC's and FrozenCPU have told me that they are waiting for them to come in any day now.

I now have two new aluminum color options. Smoke gray and green anodized.

I have switched over to using acetal disks for the ends of the reservoirs. The sheet of acetal I got is good for about 121 disks, and is being sent out for laser cutting.

I also have switched over to using cast acrylic mounting clips, rather than these black thermoplastic ones from McMaster. The black ones have shown to be way too stiff, and it takes a ton of pressure to get the res to snap in. I am afraid over time, snapping the res in might cause it to crack.

So please bear with me. You will all not be disappointed with final result here. I am really trying to get these to become the highest quality possible.

My ultimate goal is to get to the point where I can make modular reservoirs. Have the acrylic tube threaded. Have one end cap threaded with the light tube, and have the other end cap threaded with the helix attached to it.

Questions, comments, suggestions while we wait for some lights and laser cutting to be done?

Well the time means I have more time to save up some dough to possibly get one. I don't usually spend extra just for bling (and my EK res works just fine) but I'm sore tempted on this....

Frozen, you gotta do what you gotta do.. It's better for you to change it up, and figure what's needed now then to get the countless e-mails or calls saying your product just messed up their 1k system.. I will be one to say that I do believe in your craftsmanship, and I can't wait to falunt your res all lover the forums. I know my project log at TPU is waiting on this masterpiece to be done!

Yep exactly, and I thank you all for your patience on this.

In the meantime, I think tomorrow and Tuesday I will work on my website a bit, maybe post some pictures on here of the different aluminum colors and such.

The only possible thing would be to do hollow acrylic tube, wrap it in the helix, and fill it with UV reactive liquid.

I looked into using that but that would only be for the outer tube. That purple isn't UV reactive either, only the red and green is.

Also, I am going to keep using the black clips for now, I will just mod them all to cushion the reservoir. I was quoted $6 a piece for having the plexi ones laser cut. A little much compared to the black thermoplastic clips which are $2.12 a piece.

they are the size of an ek 250 res...but I can make them shorter easily.

how long in inches are the standard inverse res?

are these the same width around as a normal EK res etc? just starting to figure out placement etc want to make sure i got enough room for it where i want it.

also any updates?

was hoping to get it for a bday present but thats not looking likely (11th of july)
