I think it is important to keep a dialog on this issue open. Perhaps a closing of this thread and an opening of another to attempt to cut down of the off topic banter. I give it up, now. Perhaps you are not able to or not willing to read my posts as they are. So think what you want, fortunately it does not really affect me.
Only one last statement about me and my motives:
I spent about approx. 3000-4000 Euro during the last 18 months for liquid cooling, and got a big part of it back by selling equipment after having tested it. And I tested a lot (the people @forumdeluxx will know)
Absolutely in difference to many other people (who did lots of reviews, too) I got not even one (=1) free test sample. No extra rebates for anything. The one and only thing I got for free is the repair of a damaged Poweradjust from Aquacomputer (notice the marking! Thanks to Shoggy once again). In contrast to many others I got neither testsamples or rebates from Aquatuning, nor from Feser, nor from Alphacool, nor from Caseking, nor from Swiftech and whoever.
And I am proud and happy about that, because I am absolutely free in my acting.
And so I won´t mess around with these recriminations anymore. I´m fed up with this kind of slyboots like this fellow DarthBeavis. High time to leave this thread.

The Aquatuning fiasco is a sensitive issue for many because many of us have either ties to some of the manufacturers, friends with them since we deal with them so much or are awaiting new stuff from R&D which now may be hampered because of lawyer fee's because of some idiot company *cough cough aquatuning cough cough* decides to try and pull a fast one and making a monopoly for themselves in Europe. Now they the people will suffer from high prices and aquatuning also will gouge the market to help peddle off some other manufacturers stuff because they have the stuff from other areas under control. It's BS just like scabs here who is their troll. I am done with this....I said my piece and just ask those to understand what is going on and to vote with their wallet.

It is one small company screwing over others. What is sad is AT in my experince has been a good company (I have had good experiences with them) but my understanding is they hired the jerkoff who tried to screw HWLABS over with the same type of trademarking crap. I just got back from holidays, so I missed out the whole story...but that's just insane!! I don't really get what they're trying to do there...I ordered a lot of stuff there, so good luck my rig is now ready, and I can get the smaller parts somewhere else...I really don't like it, when big companies try to be monopolist using such methods...I hope the even bigger companies (like Swiftech etc.) will know their stuff and know what to do against it...

I really do thank you very much for keeping it open and allowing a few of us to protest what is going on. It shows a great deal of integrity when a forum allows it members to be able to speak freely when it's a good cause that affects us directly.

kind of new to the forums, and have yet to dive into water cooling. however, i've been following the thread. from what i can gather, it seems that they are, in fact, doing this to gain a monopoly on the water cooling market in their country. what, with trademarking the most popular brands and sending the one(i read confirmed, but i don't think anyone has actually posted the letter) cease and desist letter to a company. they would have stood to gain a substantial market share in their area had they perhaps not shot their load a little early. imagine if they had sat on that letter until the statute of limitations on the contest of the trademarks was up? there would have been no possible legal action any of the involved companies could have taken to regain their name...then, i assume, they would have sent out cease and desist letters en mass.
perhaps the koolance rebranding was authorized by koolance? i have no idea.
this is all definitely unethical business practice; however, i can probably count on one hand the number of businesses with whom patronize that are ethical. i do go out of my way in attempts to support only those companies, so when/if i do delve in to water cooling, i'll not purchase anything from aquatuning.
well, if there is one positive thing that can be taken from this by the water cooling companies involved, it's that they really have an amazing customer base. loyalty and support that businesses rarely achieve. they should consider themselves lucky to have such support!
