Sem: Most Core i7 CPUs start to thermal throttle and slow down at 100C. Any temperature below that is fine as long as your computer is stable. If Intel thought you were going to hurt one of their CPUs at this temperature then they would lower the thermal throttling point. The bean counters don't like RMA returns.

Is anyone putting up a list like we had with the S775's ? I'm getting a brand new 950 tomorrow, though I have no idea for batch. The one I get just has to be good. After 3 normal CPu's I hope it's time to get something decent for once :p
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

It was the last one, so it's a moot point.

But I was just pick up the phone and talk to stores, resellers, suppliers.

I know damn near every batch available in Canada

NCIX.com have 3845B027's mixed in with their billion other D0's, by the way.

I noticed my chip doesn't get hotter with high voltage, I can run 3.80Ghz with 1.25v with max temp 77c, and 4GHz 1.28v my max temp 80c
chip can do 4Ghz with 1.26v, it passed 25 passes LinX but it is not 100% stable, I have to up vcore to 1.28v for 100% stability, also temps are same with 1.26v or 1.28v, is 1.28v fine for 4GHz?
    I'm using True120 unlapped

That is all it will let me run in 32 xp it puts such a heavy load i cant do anything while its running with the settings in the picture.

I have windows 7 32 bit i'll try to grab the 64bit version.

Is the temperature of CPU too high? It worries a little.

If you are only hitting low 70C's that's perfectly fine for Core i7's.

Insane chip by the way, what are you cooling it with?!
