Nothing exceptional to see here except some rather nice performance efficiency but I like the sticks so much I don't dare to push them yet so here's my 2 plausible 24/7 configs at 2.15v (never tried going lower). I managed to get a short circuit so a fuse in my student appartment went off killing one of my precious CellShock DDR2-1000 4-4-4-12 sticks. I applied for RMA and got a new kit and this new one is at least as good as the old.

    DDR2-1000 4-4-4-8 PL7 2.15v 500x8 1:1

    DDR2-1200 5-5-4-10 PL8 2.15v 500x8 5:6

Don't seem to have any MemTest screen of DDR2-1200 config saved but I found this of the DDR2-1000 config:

I prefer using the first config. P35 & Micron D9GKX ftw!

Nice setup, the P35's respond well to CAS4. P45 CAS4 performance is barely any better than when using CAS5 at the same frequency. Shame about the power spike that killed your stick, good thing you managed to get an RMA.

    Here's my CellShock 8000 C4 sticks.

Maybe, it may take some work (and voltage) though, the P965's were not the best ram overclocking boards - mione topped out around 640 MHz with pretty scary vMCH and around 1200 with safe voltages.

You'd be better off going for something like the Gigabyte UD3P or UD3R (they are cheap and clock ram extremely well) or an X48 like the DFI T2RSB Plus or Asus Rampage Formula.

Yeah, I pulled mine back out, still can do 600MHz C4 with 2.45V but won't do 650 C5 for anything

comando will clock the ram past 1200 but will take more voltage on ram and board
    get a good p45
or get d9gmh or get low voltage blades
the ut p35 is the best board for core2duo but no good with d9gkx

waterflex i know how you feel man i hate them kind of mofos

I took a chance on some CellShock 1150s off eBay, we'll see how they are when they get here. Seller has great feedback score so I'm not too worried.

Pay attention: the best kits of "Red Devil" are those which manufactured by 25 week of 2007. All others are not too good. I had kits manufactured at 36 and 44 weeks. They are not so good as mine kit.

IMO, I would get this PC9200 kit and save a truckload of change.

Lucky git I also have my Cellshocks up for sale, just don't need them so they may as well go to a good home.

Waterflex, Did you test both sticks and both are dead? Why dont you try and freeze your non functional cellshocks and see if this revives them?

Also I wouldnt sell your functional ones, have some fun with them and keep them for backup ram. They are too rare to sell off IMO, and I have yet to see you run some SPI32M etc at high clocks. I want to see what they can do

Of course! Micron RevD chips still the only ones to my knowledge that can clock up over 700MHz.

I dunno - they seem popular here but I tried selling a Cell Shock D9GKX kit on ebay and it didn't sell I'd have given a limb for D9GKX, but I suppose now it's rare because it's slowly becoming obsolete, not because it's in high demand.
