Sorry: nothing much to update, I talked to Ben via e-mail at MM, he informs me I'll be waiting about two more weeks before shipment... A good opportunity to develop my patience I suppose.

    I love these fans...

I've yet to receive another 14 for a grand total of 38.

Some other news: The custom fan grills of all sizes are soon to be in the first stages of production! I can't wait to get them. I think that I'll be powder coating them high gloss black to contrast with the high gloss frost white MM Ascension and company cases.
I got a bunch of other stuff too, some more Intel SSDs, various water cooling supplies, another duplicate power supply (more blood to spill sleeving), some stuff for my phase change build... all post some more meaningful updates as soon as I have them to post.

EDIT: After more and more thinking, double-thinking, re-re-thinking, etc I re-again decided I just want to purchase one of runmc's SS Chillers for starters. I'll be using it on the bench and atm don't plan on making it a fixed component of this build (least not until I can figure a way to do so practically and beautifully).

    They're shiny?

Aside from that, variable 23.86-53.02 CFM, nice and quiet ... well probably not with 38 of them.

So, yeah. I'm gonna go with: they're shiny.

This is by far the most ridiculous, inexplicable and insane build I've ever seen, and for some reason I still like it and I'm eagerly waiting how this turns up.

    Keep up the level
Not into xtreme builds anymore, just like to keep things silent.

Example #1 - Why someone else should make me a logo!

If that doesn't prove to you how abysmal I am at making "graphics art", and by that I mean the kind that DOESN'T spontaneously cause brain hemmoraging in 70% of all viewers (sorry), you either don't have eyes or you do have eyes, but they're looking somewhere else. I can't even imagine how pitiful that will look when it's etched with a laser on acrylic!

Need I pay one of you peoples out there with a shred of talent? Arghh, I think it might come to that... I'll keep on making logos I suppose, they might at least be good for a laugh, but I fear I'm only somehow triggering an increased risk of Alzheimer's in my fellow Xtreme Systems members... Again, sorry. ....

Nah you don't want to be me... if that we're the case you would be stuck in the wretched polluted central valley of Cali half the year, as apposed to the beauty of coastal Queensland.

Thanks! It's been a challenge for me every day waiting to get the case from MM.... but it gives me more time to think about the build before hand so hopefully that will be beneficial...

Oh, and don't worry, you won't have to think about how much I'm spending, because my answer will always be: not enough.

I'll make this brief, for It may be against forum guidelines, If anyone is interested in earning $100.00 (through paypal) to design a single logo design that will be laser etched on the center of each clear side panel acrylic window, contact me via PM to discuss it. Basically I would just want the words 'Project Illuminated' in a font of my choosing below a wicked looking design that in some manner, shape, or form expresses... well... illumination, in vivid (when transferred to acrylic) artistic brilliance... I keep on thinking: supernova... or something like that.

In other thoughts my brain has for me: I still intend on having a number of "sponsors" and XtremeSystems etched onto the side panels too... but if anyone was designing me a logo, they wouldn't have to worry about that.

Good Luck with your logo, Xaxis. I'm sure some talented folks can come through for you.

I'm thoroughly enjoying your enthusiasm for this build, and I'm sure Mountain Mods will come through with your case. Keep the updates coming.

I am half tempted to draw a geometric design for you in SW, but at the same time I think the constraints headache of sketching something complex like that I am thinking of would probably put me in a coma

Thanks for your words of support shazza. I only wish I was capable of designing something myself that I didn't feel like throwing away.

I grew up within the "rebellious" greenery of County Cork, (southern Ireland) ... so while I appreciate the states and my place hear for a good many reasons, you can imagine the change of geography threw me for a loop... and hasn't stopped doing so for 12 years, and so this is why I spend half my year in a small house in Port Angeles, WA, every year (almost always in the summer months) .... something I'm not doing this year due to a number of life's little unpredictabilities. Regardless, I'm willing to wager I'll survive.

Har... No comas on my behalf SNiiPE from what I gather via your posts your a rather busy fellow... perhaps you can instead telepathically lend me a bit of artistic talent?

I want more updates too! I'm waiting for my MM case to arrive. Once it does I can guarantee I'll be working on the project every hour I'm awake. It's my only priority/responsibility from today until about 10 months from now. I promise I'll be a photo fiend. I've been purchasing some proper photography staging stuff too, so the photos might turn out a little better than usual.

Well, if I could find 5 Feser 480 rads ANYWHERE - that might help towards a 6 digit figure. I had hoped to use at least 3 of them up in the top of the MM Ascension as apposed to the 3 360 rads I have now. The other two would go in the first pedestal 24 base and I would then buy another pedestal 24 to house the Monstas (I'm thinking of buying a third Monsta soon if I can figure out the logistics). Also, if the new EK full board water block for the EVGA x58 Classified was acetal+nickel I would buy it... I may still buy it anyway. I'll just have to do the nickel plating myself.

Okay, so I promise after these next two grill images, the next images you'll see related to grills will be the real deal.
I just wanted to show off armeniandave's attention to detail. You'll notice the 3 additional slots for wire routing he implemented on the the inside 3x3 grill.

Also, he made some modifications to the 3x4 inside grill, concerning sizing issues that might arise with the barbs on the upper rads. It's good stuff!

Next will come the custom side panels which will also be a product of (UN).

Sorry for the long winded post... I've been sleeving two power supplies almost all night, guess I just needed a break.

    Thanks for your support everyone.

Looks like UN has all the goods... they should just start making cube computer cases. Competition in the market would be nice
