A qualifying round would be the way to go, but as you said we are British so we would not even get invited to that if it ever happened.

But I do wonder how many marketing outlets will get annoyed at this in the world, as they have to make sales, so keeping this to a very small filed is hurting all the main manufactures a lot of which I don't think they will be too happy about.
