charles...could you tell me how much it was to plate the blocks?
I got a whole lot of blocks plated, but my local place charges $60 for nickel on copper and $90 for nickel on aluminum (dual process).

Thanks BA - i have some plans in the works for a little classified project & I have become quite fond of the look of black pom & nickel. I'm sure i'll be able to track down a vendor in Chicago that can assist...i just wanted to be sure i was not setting myself up for another "money pit"

    Thanks for the comments Guys.

I was away this past week dealing with family stuff but I'm back on the job now and eager to get this project across the finish line (as I know Daniel is). We're still waiting on the CPU but pretty much everything else is at hand so there will be a lot of progress made this coming week.

Daniel, meet your brand spanking new processor - I'll leave you two to get better acquainted.

Seriously, now it's time to turn some screws and button the puppy up. A few final parts being powder coated and the SSD mounts still needing a bit of work but pretty much everything else is ready for final assembly. I may post a shot here and there before it's all complete but will likely hold out till everything is together for maximum impact. Cruel - I hope not.

Ok, here's a taste of the lower section...

Any questions will be answered once the build is complete. Much more to follow - thanks for looking in.

well I hate to say it but it is a little cruel as 2 pics is just not enough....especially with what you are hinting at in the second pic

I cannot wait to see how you finish this build off

Another MDPC in the making! Another art piece in the making! Yet another murderMod

Whatever you've planned for this Charles, I know it's going to be something that'll be talked about for a LONG time from the perfect execution to the amazing photographs.

5 x 120mm fesers! this is gonna be sick Charles! i wonder what you have in store for the connectivity for the dual DDCs. i wonder if the DDCs could be shifted to the drive bays, and make space for a feser 240 instead...*ponders*

anyway Charles, good to have you back
