I have not tried any of the more fine grained voltage adjustments, only memory and CPU core to start, I'll try out your suggestions later on. I'm hoping for 3.8 with good NB clocks using reasonable voltages.

Cool deal,, once i move to DDR3 ,, the G70 will most likely be it. Unless some uber Mobo comes along while im saving up for it lol.

Did some tweaks as suggested by gOtVoltage. Got the NB@2400 easily. CPU is running@3.6 with a mild voltage bump prime stable. Getting 2600 NB is proving to be harder. I can easily boot@ 2.6NB with CPU ~3.76, but prime fails one the 2nd core after about 30 minutes. Tried many different combinations of base clock, multiplier etc. still same error. (and a bunch of blue screens in between) Will do more tweaking later I'm tired of blue screens right now.

How are some of you running NB@ 2.9Ghz anyway? Running Win7-7201 x64 BTW. On another note, OCZ3G1600LV6GK is not the best memory around. Won't go past 1600 even a few Mhz, which holds me back. Won't run at stock speed @1.65 volts (stock voltage) either. It's i7 specific memory don't know exactly what that is supposed to mean or do.

edit- forgot to post, memory read in Everest is 10,000 on the nose. At 2.6NB, got about 10,120 read.

AMD overdrive latest version freezes and crashes this board a lot, using whatever version MSI has on their site.
