    Hi there! I have not vmod anything in my life so I'm a complete noob at this.

    I currently have a HIS 4870, blue PCB and probably referenced design. Just to confirm, is this techpower voltmod guide applicable to me? And how does one change and monitor the voltage, like makaka did?

    @ blazingfire: Take a look at your card. Does it sport 1 or 2 "VT1165" regulator chips? If yes, you won' t need a hardmod. Just use software described here

    Sapphire blue non-reference

    @ Syl & Vatos Locos: Thank you both mates! I used your hardmod to rise the VGPU on my Sapphire blue HD4870 512MB non-reference.
    Right now I am @

    GPU 935MHz / Mem 975MHz 3DMark Vantage stable @ VGPU 1.47V
