Excellent. I always study your photos to see how you do such a wonderful job of cable management ... and your use of color is always interesting as well.

I spoke with Nils about this, and projects which are sponsored can't be on MDPC.

... huh? by that logic then Charles' builds cant be on MDPC cuz he was paid to build them. this makes no sense to me.

Correction: Which have advertisement on the case. If someone gets parts for free it's absolutely ok!!!

But giving free ad-space for 20 years - that's not my intention. I refuse ad-offers for the site because it's about design and not commerce. Benny' system had ads but I have to live with that.

    That's what I said:
    "Hello Luke
The advertising plate is a no-go for MDPC, since I will not provide free-advertising space anymore (I know, Benny had Ads on it too, but that is soooo old ). Since the builds on MDPC will be still visible in 20 years, the companies couldn't pay this advertising space I believe

And since the plate is part of your build, I am sorry that I can't even take it into consideration. Since you are already on MDPC, I hope that it's understandable on you are not too angry at me

Now you know why I am against sponsors, because sponsors prevent to show up on MDPC if they want stickers or something on their rigs "

Saying: "projects which are sponsored can't be on MDPC" ... is clearly sending the wrong message and as you saw, Sniipe directly had his "alarms" turned on.

    And btw.
Hearing from you privately that I promote murderMod on MDPC is disappointing. All three systems had clearly innovative solutions in them that had much potential to inspire others. The standard I set for these systems is much much higher than for any other case-based-mod. I know that people just want to blame me with affiliation and that's just why I didn't show other murderMods (even one that won a casemod-competition in Germany) that would have been good enough by regular MDPC standards. But I don't do it, because I know that people want to blame me.
I would put a big ad onto the website if I want to make money off of something. I also refused offers for ads that would spoil in over a thousand bucks per month. Pleae don't call me affiliated. Also I didn't get any paycheck from Lian Li or Silverstone that are shown so often. I pay all hardware myself to stay free of any possible "attack-spot".

And your quote "projects which are sponsored can't be on MDPC" was clearly misleading. I don't care if Mama, Daddy, own income or a sponsor pays the materials or if it's stolen or found on the street, but I don't provide free-ad-space when a sponsor demands that a big sticker is placed on the rig that has nothing to do with the component itself. And that is what I clearly said.

20.000 unique people visit the site every day from more than 50 different countries and I could make money with it, but I don't care and don't earn a buck.
And because out of friendship, nobody gets on it. Perfection + pleasing aesthetics + a little innovation that can inspire others is what's needed at the minimum. And no - I don't judge these things myself. There is a big democratic circle behind it.

Whatever: Who wants to find and say something bad will always be able to do so. This fight I can't win on the microscopic level. I can just deliver what the people love to see and get inspired by. And it seems to work very well
