Well, assuming both setups are with the stock solution fans, Corsair is @1700rpm (resource page), and TR @1600 (per 1366 RT)...so noise would be somewhat comparable (although the TR solution has one more fan, the stock Lian li goes @1000 on this case).
I wonder though why did they put the TRUE fan in a pull setup. I believe temps would be worse that way (I have this case)...

You could but you would void the warranty, and I'm not sure how much performance increase you'd get. The pump is very small and designed for low flow through the system, it's nearly inaudible as well. The only significant performance modification we were able to do in the lab was to replace the included radiator (120mm aluminum) with a slightly better radiator (120mm copper) and we got a small performance bump, but a huge cost bump.
This product is balanced very carefully to work as a completely closed system requiring no maintenance and it has virtually zero evaporation due to the low-evap tubing used.
It's really designed to be a standalone CPU cooler.
We need more info before really judging it. We need internal pics of the block, pump specs, and rad info. I'll bet it will have around a 10C air in/water out delta (with those fans) on an i7 and the block is probably pretty high flow, possibly comparable to the Apogee GT or OCZ block. If this pure speculation is true it won't compare to what we do in the WCing section, but it will be "average" WCing performance. Better than air, but worse than building your own loop. Of course, the price for this is less than WCing but more than air. I would say this will probably turn out to be a good product for those wanting better than air performance, but aren't ready just yet to jump into WCing.
EDIT: Those don't sound good. I assume you have also done something to prevent corrosion (alu block maybe).

how long would it last w/o having to be refilled?
this looks like a good alternative to an SFF case if it really works like is claimed on the i7
how well it will handle a small air bubble?
But since it's water it will eventually still evaporate. Any idea how long that will take (especially when it reaches high temps on a normal basis)?

Which would hurt performance and will eventually run out but, yeah, this is most likely what they did based on pics (the bottom looks like copper). I guess the fluid will evaporate eventually anyway.
I wish there was any really useful info on that page or the corsair one. Taking off the top to look at the PCB of the pump is hardly a "breakdown". Thanks for the link though.

for example the built in pump waterblock from swiftech was pretty good because there rads were good
Someone once explained the math to me when I asked about running an OC'd Penryn quad on a single 120 and it wasn't feasible.
Single 120 with i7 would be worse. Wouldn't it?

I think people are being way to negative. No, it's not a high-performance WC loop relative to custom built WC loops, but I'm sure corsair didn't put out aproduct that performs worse than comparative air-cooling. Now testing will determine this so let's just wait and see. Also, it seems to be best for small cases.
I have high hopes for this because putting a 120mm rad in front of my SG05 Mini-ITX case was something I was thinking about doing actually. Was thinking about installing a WC loop, but realized it'd be a lot of trouble and cost tons too. This I think would work much better than my geminii that I have currently. It's a massive piece of metal, and it works, but there is definite room for improvement.
$10 says this is NOT as good as those numbers claim, excepting on low-power CPUs.
That equipment just isn't enough to beat a TRUE by that much. It might beat it... but that margin just seems pretty high. And, really, those are manufacturer-provided numbers.

as temperature rises, the volume of heat moved from the same airflow increases. the formula is simplified by a C/W ratio, Celsius/Watts, if its 100 watts of heat, and the difference between the water and air is 10 degrees C. then the C/W is 10/100, or .1 degrees Celsius per Watt of heat.
so if you throw 200W at it, then the temp increases to 20C above ambient for that same loop (in theory, remember its simplified). its not so much that a radiator cant handle the heat, its can it remove enough heat to keep it in safe temperature levels at the max fan speed desired/available.
there is a very good chance that a single 120mm radiator can handle a cpu. if you double the air flow, its very similar to doubling the surface area of the radiator. so a 120mm rad can handle alot, if you give it a strong enough fan, and deal with the noise of a vacuum cleaner being on 24/7
We don't know anything about the rad, don't be so quick to judge. I guess we really need to know specs before I start pulling numbers out of my arse (which I have already done once). I am re-looking over some of Martin's tests and this is getting more interesting.
Swiftech's built in pump block setup was good because it was the same thing we used in normal setups. An Apogee GT and a DDC 3.1 (which can be modded to a 3.2). I doubt modding the pump would really do much for temps though with that block as it is already high flow.
