Check you Soundcard Drivers under Vista. Its a Know problem they can become unstable with XF-I And or when using Audigy.
Take oout the Card and try using Onboard sound .
If the Onboard sound works normal but the XF-I dosnt ,, Youll need to find a better XF-I driver driver.
This goes for PCI and PCI-E based cards and Vista 32bit/64bit.
Ive had the very same problem sometimes even with the M3A79-T deluxe.. Something to do with creative driver and ATI chip sets.
