Hi guys, i really dont want to kill the thunder, and WElldone dude, awesome fsb and BEUT picture.

But. what can you reach dualchannel? having one stick of ram in the board isnt really helpfull, and all these ppl posting here wanting to buy it think it will do 640 when they have their ram in there (only some of them :p). I had a gigabyte Ep45 extreme, it could do 640 FSB single channel, but as soon as i use 2 ram sticks i cant really get above 550 fsb, but i only had the board for 2 days.

If your board can do 600 Dual channel, then it truelly is amazing
The ppl talking about commando's doing 660 mean 660fsb dual channel, so it can be used for 3d and 32m, thats why HWBOT isnt thrashed yet.

Some of the ppl have managed 600+ dual channel 3d stable, but i want to see more. specially on this board, cause i want to get it one day.

    Thanks and welldone

So people who have this board, do you recommend buying it?
I'm looking for a new mobo (p45 and asus preferably) and I'm wondering which one to get. I'll use dice and maybe LN2 in the future. Thanks in advance

    It's my picture

First, I test with my E8500 and my E8400 the FSB with watercooling (same as aircool).
I was surpsised when I saw tha I reached 640Mhz on screen, and be able to do SuperPi 1M at 625Mhz.
I just give 1.42V to the NorthBridge, because more will decrease my FSB.

Then, I put my E8500 under my 2-Stages (made by Skrims-Fr).
In the first run, I reach 660*8 with my E8500. But, in touching CPU GTL, I just get 670MHz FSB !!!

    Amazing isn't it ?

Asus ROG was really not the best to get high FSB, but this Maximus 2 Formula prove that Asus is still working on it
    Huge FSB. Congrats.
Killer cpu u got there. lets see 670*9.5

Have you been under a rock?

    j/k

Yes it a OC'ers dream. Just some problems with memory dividers and running high FSB with dual channel. Things will probably get straightened with some new bios. Its a relatively new chipset so I expect within a month or two should be functioning much better.

Any news on what fsb people get in dual channel? I've ordered mine and I should get it soon and I'd hate to be disappointed by the fsb it reaches.

Hi there. Just got this mobo. Hoped to get 600+ FSB.
But I could reach only 450 in bios and 470-480 in win and it often shows BSODs.
Made 1.35v on cpu 1.23v on NB 1.53 on PLL and 1.53v on fsb termination.
I tried with my E6600. I know it can do ~600 fsb.
POST says that proglem is in memory coz it hangs with "dte dram" message.
I tried it with my 2x1 gkx and with 2x1 hynix. There was no differences. Mem was set 1:1 to fsb.
Bioses tried 0503(was with mobo) and the last one 0901 as i remember.
with 1 channel it goes much better - 530-540 fsb could do 1M.
    But the dualchannel needed =\
So the question is: am i so lefthanded or it's mobos problems?

Nice FSB, but as said above, what can it do dual channel? Very interested. If it can't do more than 480 - 540 FSB dual channel that's very weak.
There would think there would be something very wrong if the Maximus 2F couldn't do better, given its price and marketing as a top end board.

My P45 P5Q-Deluxe will do 590 FSB dual channel and would definitely do more if I pushed vcore higher. I can bench at 571 FSB dual channel also and that's not even pushing the vNB over 1.26v.

The max I have got on my m2f is around 575-580 dual channel. It's a very nice board for high mem clocks tho! Mine does 716Mhz CL5 in dual channel. Also I think this board does a lot better with yorkfields than with wolfdales. But then the 2x8 PCI-E screws up the possibility for high end 3d benching

ALL people are calling MIRACLE but i see nothing...

this motherboard is worst than Rampage Extreme and DFI DK P45-t2rs plus... why should i have to buy this ? 670 single channel is nothing... with all my 3 dfi i could reach 640-660gsb dual channel... with rampage extreme 650 it's easy...
