RDC Help! Login to Windows Remotely.

    Ave,

I use Remote Desktop Connection to access my Windows 7 machine at home from work. I don't have any problems doing so but here's my question ...

Right now my Windows PC at home doesn't have a Login Password. I do wish to add a password to the PC now. My question is - when I'm logged in Remotely using RDC, and let's say I reboot the machine ... at some point the Windows machine will reach the Login Box at home. Will I be able to Login putting in my password remotely using RDC? Or does RDC only work if you have already Logged in to to your Windows PC?

    Thanks.

Connecting using RDC will log you into windows, so rebooting won't cause you a problem.

Yes it'll be fine - but RDP does require the remote machine to have a password for you to be able to connect.

If you shut your home desktop when you are in work, you'll messed up at that time LOL. But there are several ways to power on your computer from outside, I am not talking about physical ways on it. With these ways, you can power on your desktop without going to home LOL.
