Yo dinos! The RE is a sick board indeed . UNtil you ln2 it and it's 50 / 50 wheather it dies, or die and take your cpu ^_^. but normally thats only the case when you ln2 the nb leaving other compotents vonurable. This board is really awesome.

Im so jealous of that thermolab pot, its SICK amazing, i cant see how you are going to be able to cover it with insulation :P.

Also love the work and effort you are putting into this thread and working on this board, you will love how stable it is on ln2..

pretty nice gpu clocks you have there just on water dino i usually test new or old gen graphics cards pretty much in the same manner as you did here, but i dont oftenly go into such detailed testing as you did here.
doing this stuff beforehand eliminates lots of things when your doing your "real" benching runs and need to trouble shoot your runs cos something is crashing.

hehe your not the only one that has pointed out about me showing off my e8600 patch witch is not really "that" amazing.. not when comparing it to my 8400 witch hits over 6ghz (max screen at 6165mhz)on cascade

so that this would not be just offtopic i've found that disabling all the unnecessary icons from the desktop / "all programs" menu sidebar gives a little boost in 01 + many other bencing progs.. the difference is not huge but its something.

Honestly I would prefer an E8400 than can do 6160MHz+ on cascade, than a 6.3GHz benchable E8600 on LN2 ...

Is that a dtek fuzion 1 on the 4890? Did you have to modify it at all to get it to fit. From what I can remember, the dtek fuzion 1 doesn't fit on the 4870 series, as I have a 4870x2 and the holes don't line up.

If thats the case, my postponed effort, I might have to perform this mod on my card.

    hi mate
fits it perfectly fine cause i had the adapter for ATI cards
    same holes as 4870X2

i love the fact ATI standardises this kind of stuff and also most it easy to use the original heatsink for PWM and RAM and then just add waterblocks

nvidia could really learn a thing or two from them in terms of cooler design
