BitsPower EVGA Classified X58 3X SLI Mobo Blocks! Very Nice!

Not my pics, but man, I can't wait to get mine!

They should be hitting the retailers soon, from what I've heard.

This block is SOLID copper, unlike the koolance block which is what, cooper/steel/acrylic? No thanks.

    Twice the nice

Everyone has their opinion and everyone has their budget...that's why there are different price points of products. I like the all copper, nickel-plated BP, while you like the combo of acrylic, copper and stainless steel of the Koolance.

Good for you, but no need to thread crap

I didn't think the nickel plated version would be available, thought that was made specifically for RealRedRaider, are they going to offer the nickel plated version?

Not the top. That's acrylic with a stainless plate on it.

I'll post 'em up when mine gets here, which should be soon as it was ordered today. Priority International usually takes about 4-5 days.

Has the waterblock in the pic seen any action yet? Curious how it performs.

Not that I know of, Shazza.

I still have a few more things to gather together before I get my build going, so there will probably be others reporting back before I get a chance to do so. Since they are now in stock at Sidewinder, I would expect that we will start seeing them "in the wild" shortly

Hey, some of us actually like stainless steel. Also, STOP MAKING ME WANT A CLASSIFIED. I'm still stuck with my poor old x58 evga normal edition because i jumped on the i7 train too soon and couldnt step up

The channels look narrow, but you gotta remember they're taller than the koolance. I would say flow on both blocks are gonna be about the same.

how so? cuz the top has channels doesnt mean it has thicker channels. The Top plates on the KL are thin, that this arguement holds no context.

If anything im willing to bet the KL block is less restrictive.

Sorry you brought up a comparison. :T

I bet the differences between the two in terms of restriction are negligible.

Just my gut feeling, no scientific testing behind that
