    Thank you guys!!!

It has been a fantastic ride, and I have learned a LOT about 2k1 these days. My full respect to K|ngp|n for this competition, my deepest respect to hipro for his outstanding experience, skills and understanding of this game, he really pointed out the way for us a few weeks back, too bad that sometimes life doesn't allways allow us to finish what we have begun.

Also, my best regards and respect for hey, you put up a great fight little bro, and also for the heavy-weights Aristidis and GPRHellas, who dominated the dual-GPU competition. And in the end, congratulations to everybody that worked hard and came up with results in this competition, this is the true spirit of overclocking and I am proud to have been a part of this.

In the end, you all know that all my respect and friendship goes to my team-mate Micutzu, but also matose (who was with us all the way in spirit, support and advice).

I suggest next challange should be "lowest CPU clock to pass 100k in 3D2001"

    Congrats to the winning guys......

Unfortunatelly I didn't have time to bench these days....

    Winning comps are:

    1. SINGLE = ATI 4890 at 1250MHz on i7 platform
    2. DUAL (multi) = 2 x ATI 4890 at 1150MHz - 1200MHz on Core 2 Duo platform

    INTEL PWA FOR EVER

    not agree
if we had not bad luck, our winning combination for single was 8800GTS@1250MHZ on RE

George i dont think you can do anything with that low nature score what the ATI card and the i7 combination makes together even if you are running at 1250mhz, i made also few runs like dinos for fun with 4890 and i7, and even cant get near of 1000fps in nature maxed out on air, but sure you can proof the opposite anytime and show some hipro magic
edit: but actually this all nothing matters guys, after the competition ended and the best scores are out its always easy to calculate better in theory

George, for the past couple of days I've been trying to chase your score on a 4890. Out of 2 days straight of 01, I had only two runs in total that would've had a chance to beat you but never got a nature for either, and that too only by a margin of 20 or so points. You and crustytheclown really did one hell of a job with those runs...90.2k+ isn't easy at all with ATi, in fact I think it's actually easier with nVidia (GTX280) :S

    Congrats to Monstru and aristidis

Pretty much true buddy, at 1150/1250 we were still under 90k (~ 1080 Nature) so we gave up on ATI, max benchable clocks were around 1200/1300 but the scaling is worse and worse over a certain limit on i7. This was the score with aircooled VGA:

    2x4890 @ 1230/1250.....not a winning combination trust me.These gpus don't scale nature at all,at least at 4200MHz cpu.

Too bad you didn't have the time George

Besides the 1250MHz core ATI you have to admit that i7 + your 1100MHz + GTX 285 would have been a real killer with a monster score.
