    Zucker2K,
Given the 221x21 came at just 1.3 vcore, did you hit a 'wall' at 222 bclk? That is , did you find that more voltage makes no improvement in Bclk?

Absolutely. I just can't pass that 222 wall on this board; my previous 920 D0 topped out at the same bclk of 222. For now, I think it's a board issue.

Hey can anyone tell me if the xeons are locked on RIIE if you can still use your ram at 1600mhz or more? or does it limit you right down from those speeds?

1600 ram works, qpi speed is locked though.

Edit: Actually I think 1333 is tops; Asus should fix this issue in a bios update though.

IM about to test one later on today, i can let you know very soon. I know in other boards its not locked, but i think its purely a bios issue, soon enough asus should release a new bios to fix the multi lock.

    yup
    can anybody run it??

or more importantly to those who has ram capable of running it and knows what voltages u need

    can u run it

    hmm i can run 2200mhz CL8 stable at bclk 210 vtt 1.48v 1.65vdimm

but i cant run that ram mutlplier at stock cpu speed at CL8/CL9/CL10 1.65v
with the require vtt to run it.

    perplexed atm.
