Is there a big performance boost to be gained from OCing the GTX285 like the HD4890 ? I havent been able to found out how big a gain it gives in games when watercooled and pushed hard.

You got a top10 result with liquid cooling? Aint like top100 done with LN2?
Iam just thinking, if I bought a HD4890 and OCed it with water how much would the gains be compared to a watercooled GTX285 oced as I guess they dont OC exactly the same, but I know the HD4980 oc very well.

yep.. 24249 on Apr 06 placed me #9 if I recall correctly. This is filtered with only GTX285, and single adapter. A couple of guys came in since then and pushed me back to #12, but you can check it out here:

actually I'll spare you the search, here are the details I listed back then: Ci7/Apogee GTZ W/B: 4345@1.57 - GTX285/Komodo full cover W/B: 756/1748/1242 - Bench W/C (2) MCR320, (2) MCP655 -
