I've been lusting after a Mini P180 for a while now, I just never seem to have the funds.

    SilverStone:
SG04H (the handle is machined well, I have one of these, very nice, but u need to deal with the heat pocket at the top)
    SG04 (no handle)
SG03 (previous SG04, not as curvy)
SG02F (little longer than the previous SG02's)
SG01F (little longer than the previous SG01's)
    FragBox (shorter thatn SG01/2F's) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811163071

    Lian Li:
A05/A05N (fit's both ATX and mATX, some places will drill a 120mm hole for u, www.performance-pcs.com)

Note, if u go this route, best to go with a modular PSU that is the "standard" size, it get's very tight with an extended length PSU + long CD-ROM drives + long video cards.

    Antec P180
    Silverstone Tj08

Both cases are very well build.

But you can mount longer video cards and watercooling in the P180.
There is only space for one single rad in the Tj08

my votes goes to the tj08. you can mount two single rads in there, which should be enough. the mini P180 is the same size as an ATX case but can only take mATX boards.

I wouldn't consider any of these IMO. They are too LARGE to really be considered an mATX case. Why not just get an antec 300 or something? its the same size as a p180 as previously stated.

I wouldn't get a case like that since you'd be limited in mobo size.

What do you plan on using to cool your i7 anyways?
    You must [not] advance.

Since the thread has gone bigger and bigger, I have the Gene
and it looks great in a MM H2go, the extra space you gain on the
video card side of the board, gives you plenty of room for a second
double rad, so it's a great set up for watercooling and very portable..

I would choose the Sliverstone SG03. It's light and great build and theres more room in it than you think. I mean I've modded mine to fit everything in my sig into it and so you would easily be able to fit what you want if you stick to a Matx board and watercooling.

Could you show some pictures of you setup richh999? I'm really interested to know how much room there is for your 240 mm. radiator.
I'm actually really interested in putting watercooling in a SG04 (internally the same as the SG03). I'm not sure if I will ever do it as it can be quite expensive, but it's still interesting to imagine what is possible with such a setup. Would be very easy to carry around for sure.

Personally I have my heart set on the lian li pc-v350b. It looks amazing.

I would also consider the thermaltake lanbox light.

Hey. I'll post some pics hopefully later, I just had the back re cut using a cnc router as I did it with a dremel and jigsaw in steel last time and it didn't look too great but worked though. I'm picking it up this afternoon.. I'll take some photos of the re-build at the same time so you can really see how cramped it is inside with the ATX board and 2 9800gtx's and 4 HD's.. I may start a thread of it as well for others who are intrested as it is quite impressive IMHO..

    Sorry for the wait..

What? 4 HDDs and a freakin' ATX board? Are you trying to make your SG03 obese?
    Now I'm really interested though.

I have a few Danger Den Tower 16s that work really well for mATX builds.

Well that and 2x 10.5" dual slot graphics cards a watercooled quad core using a 240mm rad and a couple of fans, oh and a 1000w psu.. I think thats it, Its all internal as well however I haven't yet purchased a slim line dvd drive for it though but I've already made the space for it to go into.. It can get rather cramped in there..
CNC bit broke today so I may not be able to get the back until tomorow or friday but I may post a few teaser shots later of the tempoary back...
