Well what I did is remove the sticker and then remove the little rubber cap. Insde there's a little hard plastic (on my big fan it was metal) lock washer that has a slit in it. What I did was take two VERY small screwdrivers and while I held it in place with one, wedged the other down and under the slit and sort of worked it around till it came off. After that there's a normal pastic washer and then a rubber washer. At that point the fan can come out and then inside the fan blade is yet another rubber washer. There's a step by step tutorial somewhere around here. I noticed that once I put them back together that some of them were off balance but I'm sure that's because the spray can was retarted and started spraying globs of paint so it didn't get exactly an even spray but it's not too bad.
sniperbob: oh nice, yeah that's a lot more simple than I thought it would be. Well if I do decide to do that I think I'll go ahead and do it my self so I can cut it and drill all the holes before I paint the one side. I'll be sure to give you credit of corse if I do use it.
