Whats the max voltage for 24/7 usage for these chips? Is it what intel says, 1.36.......?

I'm putting together a new pc for my friend to run 4X 42" HD TV's using the e5200 and I need some advice and suggestions please.
These TV's will be on a shop front window facing the street and will be running advertisements in the form of HD Multimedia and Flash.
I've purchased the following parts which I hope will be sufficient to do the job cheap and reliably.
1 Corsair HX-620 620W Power Supply $189.00
1 CoolerMaster CM 690 $119.00
1 Cooler Master 4-Pack 120mm Fans $25.00
1 Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 $107.00
1 Gigabyte GA-EP45-UD3P $209.00
2 PowerColor Radeon PCS HD4670 512MB $244.00
1 OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 Platinum 2x2GB OCZ2P10664GK $138.00
1 Samsung 500GB 7200rpm SATA II HD502IJ $89.00
1 Pioneer DVR-217 SATA DVDRW OEM $39.00
I plan on a mild overclock to bring the FSB up to 1066Mhz, using close to default volts for 3-3.2GHz and the ram at it's default 1066Mhz.
Will this be OK with the default CPU Cooler?
Is 620Watts enough to run the two 4670's?
Anyone see any problems so far?![]()

These little chips are quite impressive.
I got my gigabyte board in today, but its DOA. RMAing it next week when I have time.
How hot do these guys get at max 24/7 settings? I have a small case that'll barely fit a scythe mugen 2 (hsf touched the side when closed) and I'd only have 2 80mm fans to exhaust air.

Getting 4.0ghz w/ 1.4v bios (droops to 1.36 during prime, that's inside of the acceptable vCore, right?) but not prime stable. I could probably boot with 4.1ghz+ if I tried, but I'll actually need a stable pc. Considering the vid is kinda high, 1.22, I'm very happy with this little chip. . I'll post a screenie later when I finally get something prime stable for 1 hour.

3.85 prime stable so far
Not bad for a cheap chip with a high vid.

I'm stuck right now with 12.5x310 3.875GHZ @1.3875v. I cannot get stable above 310 FSB. I'm going to open a thread or two on some forums to see if I can find an idea of what to try. (I think the default 200mhz bus for the e5x00 series is probably the issue)
Memory @930mhz 4-5-5-18 and PL=5 (memory rated to 1100 actually so I might try some different straps/combos)... One very odd item is tRAS=18 is definitely the best of performance on SuperPi type testing. One notch either way slows it down but I was thinking I should be able to get lower.
Still great performance for $70!!

Water cooled- CPU: Fuzion v1 / Laing D4 / Bonnieville Heatercore + MCR120
For sale: AMD 4200+ Toledo / ASROCK DUAL SATAII
It seems i bought the crappiest E5200 you could ever get. 3,8GHz is the most i can get out of it at 3,75V. Nothing to brag about really. But it's good performance for the price (74 eur at that time). I was hoping for 4GHz but no joy![]()

Hi, this afternoon I'v been doing some overclocking on my E5200.
Some pics of my setup.
The scores.
SP 1M - 17th
SP 32M - 11th
Wprime 32M - 9th
Wprime 1024M - 7th
PiFast - 16th
PC Mark 05 - 10th (dam I need some faster HDD/SSDs)
CPU-Z - 10th

I only did 2D benchmarking cause the E5200 is to weak for 3D. Nothing is really tweaked, yet :o I know the pictures suck, but image shack won't upload them
I will continue tomorrow.
Thanks and opinions?
My bad, i meant 1,375V. At 3,7V, there would be no E5200 anymore :P

Some nice numbers there fatguy
Ive just bought an SS, would loev to try to get hold of one of these chips to see how far it can go.
Ill guess Ill just have to do with my e7300 and a Q6600 im borrowing, :P
BTW, why arent you in diagnostic mode for superpi?
And if you went to vista you would get better wprime scores....
What kinda temps was it running at while doing 32m etc?
Keep up the good work!

Thanks
Nice what SS did you get?
I don't really know how to tweak stuff for SP yet- I'm learning soon though.
I know but, I don't have Vista, but i'm getting a copy soon as well
My temps at 4.75GHz running SP 32M were about -41C or so.
Hi,
I bought a modded Mach II GT i believe, chilly1 evap,
Here is the unit:
http://benchtec.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=2679
Gassed with R507 (a little better than R404a) I think, and it held the guys e8600 at 5.4 at around -44 :P
Should arrive tomorrow/thurs.
Well, Im no expert, but for superpi, I also go diagnostic, and disable everything, including explorer, and also run it a couple of times, often slightly quicker the second time around.
Overall, I think XP is way better, but for wprime, it can work wonders, :p

Sounds like a great phase change unit- have fun.
I shall,
Looking to buy a GPU mounting for it aswell, so,
Should have 3 or 4 cpus to bench, and maybe 8 gpus?
My flickr - My blog it'sfilmnotmovie
Nice, get a LN2 pot for the GPUs.
I will eventually, although, I dont think I should spend anything more atm,
Especially with exams over the next month. :P
After that though!![]()

Built a 3x GTS 250 folding box with a Zotac branded 780i ref board, and I'm running into peculiar results. My sample from what I can tell is not capable of posting above 308 MHz or so. It boots into Windows at 12.5x300, but will lock up after a while. Sometimes it will run Prime95 for hours before locking up, so I think the CPU is capable of running at high clockspeeds. I've bumped the FSB down to 290 for now as no amount of voltage on any of the usual suspects will allow it to boot above 310 MHz FSB.
At 12.5x290=3.625MHz (1.3v bios, 1.24 cpu-z under load), it has been priming with out errors for the past 14 hours.
