Gautam - thank you. The key word there is IF. Anyway, there are tests where I get very good FPS compared to Wolfdale, but there are tests where I get lower FPS, so....the I don't think that Wolfdale sang it's final song yet

Deanzo - thx bro, you inspired me to used GTX260 after I have seen your score. I hope I can get the nature at 1200, then I am satisfied knowing that I will not be far from hipro's 93k or whatever he will throw in the game in the end

hey what volts and temps did you run

for extra FPS on LL up your NB volts and run PL8 straight from bios
that should give you more

but you are already at 500 which is definitely better than my PL9 or PL8 runs at lower GPU clocks

I'm running gpu on dice (-62) and 1.65v although i can pass 1200 with 1.6v.
As for the green screens I've been there bro!!!But as i said temp is the key there.

Of course you realise that my last few screenshots with Nehalem ar part of a devious strategy to misled everyone while I sneak with E8600 from the shadows and really pull out a nice score

! Core i7 + X58 board capable of 5Ghz+ uncore + 4890 on LN2 is the winning combination. The only problem is the Nature and the fact that you need 1350+ Mhz on GPU to achieve 1200fps

!

P.S: Playing with Nehalem in 2001 is very fun...

If Nature was where it should be on i7 we would be starring at 135k for sure

Not only in Nature....Overall it gives great performance in 2k6 and Vantage, but if you look at the graphic tests clock/clock...something is not perfect there....

There are very small differences, but i7 should be better, not the same or a little bit worse (in these tests).

I did some initial tests with C0 965 and REII.The problem with my 4890 is both dragothics and Nature.But they may got affected but low bclk(155).I'll do some more tests over the week to see if i can solve that out.As for the nature problem i can solve it with 1300Mhz core!!!!

i hope soon and i7 rig will be available to so i can kick crustytheclowns ass!

With the 1200nature cap o single core cards ATi seems to have a clear advantage......Hope to do something good soon...

@Brandybuck your score is a great one man....My gtx285 has gone whacky since my 89970 score.Maybe see needs a good ln2 session before trying her on the low-clock 01.....
