I bet these are using the same IC's as the G.Skill PI DDR2-1100 stuff thats rated for 1.8-1.9v, aren't they :p

thx Tony, for your input.
I'm going to upgrade when the new boards are out from DFI with the new SB800 series chipset.
So i'll be staying on the DFI 790 for some time and i'm happy to now that my next upgrade, the 955, is rocking with this board with the right MEM sticks.

Hey, Tony
I have not been on the UT 790FX-M2R since testing the 3/26/2009 Beta out (Good Bios) but that was for very limited time with 940 BE AND THE 2X2gb Reapers with your SPD. any chance of this going down with those sticks and your SPD Profile?
Nice to finally see some advancement with Ram Overclocking with Phenom after all of this time![]()

SuperMicro X8SAX
Xeon 5620
12GB - Crucial ECC DDR3 1333
Intel 520 180GB Cherryville
Areca 1231ML ~ 2~ 250GB Seagate ES.2 ~ Raid 0 ~ 4~ Hitachi 5K3000 2TB ~ Raid 6 ~
The profile was developed to make life easy as most boards default to 1.9V and at that time the SPD would allow 1066 with that voltage quite easy.
We have a new AMD specific module (1066) coming soon as some have seen issues witht he new 1066 reapers...so i jumped in to come up with something more special.
The CPU's have changed...its not as easy now with the older IC's but that does not mean you can't wind up the NB clock and gain more speed with a lower ram clock.

~1~
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X
GigaByte X570 AORUS LITE
Trident-Z 3200 CL14 16GB
AMD Radeon VII
~2~
AMD Ryzen ThreadRipper 2950x
Asus Prime X399-A
GSkill Flare-X 3200mhz, CAS14, 64GB
AMD RX 5700 XT
If this memory is in the same price bracket as the Platinums i will definately get me a kit.
If it's (a lot) more i won't, i don't want to spend too much on DDR2 anymore.
Any price indication for this fabulous ram Tony?

NO WONDER! I've had all kinds of issues with these OCZ Reapers at rated speeds on my system (specs in sig) yet they have no hardware errors. I had to get a Corsair Dominator kit to get my system to run stable.
Can I send these Reapers into OCZ for a kit of your AMD specific 1066s? Maybe with $20 to make up the price diff?
you had to do what? just tune the modules to suit the board...the profile helps...its not a defacto standard.

hi tony, may i know which ocz you're using for that?
OCZ2B10664GK - rated 2.1v
OCZ2B1066LV4GK - rated 1.8v
are you running the 2.1v one @ a lower voltage or do you have the low voltage version? the only one available out here is the 2.1v version.. :/
thanks
E8500 @ 4.208 w/ corsair h50 , DFI LP UT P35 T2R, inno3d gtx 470 hawk, 2x2gb patriot viper sli (matches the color of dfi ut), corsair hx620, antec p180
yeah all blades available here are rated 2.1V.
Ryzen 9 3900X w/ NH-U14s on MSI X570 Unify
32 GB Patriot Viper Steel 3733 CL14 (1.51v)
RX 5700 XT w/ 2x 120mm fan mod (2 GHz)
Tons of NVMe & SATA SSDs
LG 27GL850 + Asus MG279Q
Meshify C white
Think it's the ones i bolded... LV = Low Voltage, atleast thats what Tony stated earlier in this thread?
http://www.ocztechnology.com/product...e_dual_channel
Tony: On OCZ's website it says "EVP: 1.85v" which is how much voltage i can push without ending warranty. Lets say i don't care about warranty what would be "safe" voltages for 24/7 use?
Can't wait for these to reach sweden, if not it will be my very first purchase of hardware outside of sweden
It's only 62 Euros in a Netherland store which is kinda impressing considering what these modules offer...
These RAM modules symbolizes sex in it's purest form and I must have it to satisfy myself![]()

I would not use more than 1.9Vish...most boards default to this so how are you going to stay at 1.85V evp anyway unless the board allows you to set lower like the dfi.
Remember the cas4 clocks are not supported, my dimms may be better than ones you buy..mileage varies.
The modules are the LV ones...go tot he OCZ forum and click the pic of the modules for the link![]()

just bought my 955 2 hours ago, tomorrow I'll have the spare time to slide it in to my m2r. And I'll check how my mushkin will perform, if I'm not happy I'm inclined to get some of those blades LV
