Why not? As long as you get the correct lighting, exposure, and have the focus right, you can take good pictures also. And also, tripod is a must If tripod is not handy, at least try not to hold your camera in your hands.

Remember, you don't necessarily need a good camera to be a good photographer. A real photographer can take good pictures no matter what camera they are using.
