Good morning.

I am planning to buy this case along with a fan controller (undecided between the Sunbeam Rheobus Extreme, Zalman MFC1 Plus and Lamptron FC-2), and I would like to know if it's possible to fit all or none of them in the TJ10 when the door is closed, or if I have to mod the knobs to make them fit.

If you are using any of this fan controllers on your TJ10, please let me know if they fit, if don't, could you please tell me the approximately distance between the 5,25" bays and the door when the last one is closed?

While I can't speak to that(TJ09) you can take the Zalman off the table, the display is terrible(must be viewed STRAIGHT ON).

I think you're going to have to mod the knobs. Shouldn't be to bad. Alternatively you could get a digital fan controller, with buttons. (aquero etc).

A while back I saw a rheobus style fan controller with knobs you could push in so they were flat to the front, then push them again to pop out the knob and turn it... anyone know who made it ?

I can verify that the regular Sunbeam Rheobus fits in the TJ10 just fine:

I believe these knobs are pretty standard size, so you shouldn't have trouble with most of the others. I currently have the Kaze Master Ace in the TJ10 and it's also fine.

I'd be wary of the Lamptron FC-2 ... ordered one a few months ago and it makes a whining sound when the fans are on less than full power (or the fans are whining ... but they don't do it with the Sunbeam or Kaze). Maybe they've updated, but I'd want to verify it before ordering another.
