Most probably, the m/b is defective.. That is exactly what i was talking about... My board does nothing of what you said about the Leds ... I'll try something that came in my mind now, and i'll get back tommorow..Thank you guys
You were testing your friend's PC, is his mobo the same as yours? Any progress lately? Looks like it may be a DOA mobo. But if that is the problem, why is the LCD showing correct info? Wouldn't a DOA mobo render the LCD displaying blank instead? Kind of confusing...

No my friend has Gigabyte X48T-DQ6...Also i have an Asus Evolution, i've tested there all the other h/w, it worked perfectly... As you know if you have RE, the Leds must light up when the power is on etc, as Cheapseats said...None of the leds were lit up, except from ROG Logo on the center... Also, the LCD Poster did not respond on the switches, it just keep counting all the time, i couldn't see the TEMPS or VOLTS etc, and also no CPU_INT were shown by the poster, as should be... I've tried to power up the m/b with the 4pin connector on 12V, no luck... Also tried to open it without cpu or ram, in that case i am sure that the mobo should warn me in somehow that there is no CPU or RAM on it... Nothing happened, no Leds were lit .. I've tried the same think on Evo, and a blue led near s775 and near dimm slots, were on and blinking ... The last thing i've done, was to leave the m/b out of the power and without the battary for a night... No luck, so i've tried anything, unfortunatelly i don't have right now a multimeter to check the real volts on m/b, anyway i think that it's dead , tommorow im going to return it i hope it wont take a lot..

If that's the case, I think your board is DOA. Just for the heck of it, have you tried a different CPU on it?

Did you buy it locally or did you order it online? Wish you the best for RMAing it if needed. Hope it doesn't take too long to get a replacement. Keep us posted when you get the new one.

Hey guys, does anybody knows, which are the default values for the CPU GTLRefs on RE, for a 45nm cpu? 63x or 67x?
