Yahh, 5.3Ghz @ 1.44v is already insane, even if it is a super super cherry picked Chip.

everybody knows that who has experience with i7 under cold, for some chips more voltage not gain anything, you could never know until you didnt try, i dont think it was any reason that Intel not allowed to show testing with more vcore in 'dangerous' range or the guys already tested this chip on subzero before and it was the sweet pot on this one.

Sorry but this CPU was not Cherry picked, we just don't get them here in the UK, as for the voltage some guys have already said more volts equals less MHz with some i7's.

i like the association with F1
that chip is pretty nice no doubt. its a high leakage chip which is great for this kinda OCing judging by the volts
